Liberal did the rankings. They obviously count "diversity" for more than academics. And they didn't even get the academics right.

It is mostly based on a survey of students and parents. So of course the most expensive schools and the religious schools are going to be at the top. I don't know much about New Orleans schools, but that's a shitty, lazy way to rank them.

Do you have any idea how many kids are on full rides at Newman because they are smart? No you don't. Their scholarship fund is only second to Jesuit.

The student pool is diverse and the college placement is second to none.

Newman is the best private school in LA.

Franklin is the best public school in LA.

Neither of these statements are up for debate. Let's not split hairs here.

I hope they're spending all of their income on the academics because they are sure as hell not spending it on the grounds and infrastructure.

BR's schools aren't ranked, which is suspect, and there are only 5 private schools on there. Either troll attempt or pointless

You would need to combine 2 or more hot button OT topics to get that much traction.

Maybe a ranking sorted not only by academics but by which fraternity or sorority the students pledged in college.

If you could tie "petroleum engineering" and "Les Miles" in there somehow, the sky's the limit.

Yep, and Jesuit is the best of the Catholics.

That list is a joke.

Funds other kids that would never have the opportunity to be at a place that can place them at places like Harvard or Stanford. People that can afford it really doesn't matter. They choose to send their children there.
