That’s such weird thinking. I’m paying for the pizza and tipping, and they can take their time in making it and delivering it, basically I’m at their complete mercy of when the feel like making and delivering it. Cook can choose to have a smoke break before getting started. Driver can choose to make a personal errand on way to my house. But I’m expected to jump out of my seat and run to the door because I’ve been so honored to have the opportunity to buy their pizza? Get outta here.

The system only works if the delivery guy is able to deliver a certain number of hot/warm pizzas in a certain amount of time. If every customer acted like you, then they would need to hire more delivery drivers and prices would go up.
Luckily only one person like you won't bring down the system.
