A good angle to get press seems to be working.
Not a vegan by any stretch and chicken is the staple of my diet but I would definitely try that sandwich, it looks good. Even if it was made with chicken you can look at the sandwich and see it isn't a direct competitor for CFA. Clearly two different levels and price points of food.

"Vegan meat" freaks me out. Just eat a normal sandwich that happens to not have ~beef/pork/chicken~ in it (fish sandwich, shrimp poboy, veggie club, caprese panini, grilled cheese, etc.) if you want to eat meatless. Not some creepy chemical-tasting patty that's trying to mimic meat.

These vegan patties have been shown to be worse nutritionally than the meat.

That's the dirty little secret none of them want to talk about. Most of the "not meat" options like this are super processed, and are even less healthy for you than the evil meat options they seek to replace.

When I worked in Louisville the TV station I worked at had a daily program called Listens Live, and it would bring in local businesses to showcase their products.
One day a local vegan business came in hawking their vegan burgers and chicken and brought a spread for us to try. I was telling people no way will I eat that shite, so my co-workers started to put together a pot to entice me to do it. When it reached $40 I agreed to take a bite of the vegan burger.
TLDR, It's gross.
