Here’s something I just ran across on YouTube and am very much interested in. This guy explains some general points of interest about the league like no kick offs, no extra points, no TV timeouts, 30-second gameclock, one-foot-in-bounds catch rule like college.

Here’s a link to the AAF’s website:
AAF

PS, frick the NFL.

Crap. I meant to post this on SaintsTalk. May be relevant to a lot of you baws here as well, wether you are pissed about the NFC championship or just want more football. So...enjoy.

If the SEC continues to piss me off, then maybe. Yea.

As a football fan I like the idea of this. It's not competing with the NFL and it's legit football. I can see this having some success.. And if it does, it will be another challenge in the way of XFL 2.0.

I’ll go to a Bham Iron game as long as I don’t have to go to Legion Field at night

The reality is outside of the Saints fanbase there are VERY few pro football fans looking for a true alternative.

Unless the AAF and/or the XFL are capitalized well enough to attract top NFL level talent they will always be an also-ran. The ABA was able to do it in basketball in a day when player salaries were very low and it doesn't take but 2-3 NBA level players to make a strong team. In football, you have to have quite a few more.

The NFL isn’t football. It’s fake.

The Sunbelt is probably more real than the SEC because there’s no money corrupting it like there is in the NFL and the SEC.

Most people with any critical thinking skills understand this.

The XFL recently announced their QBs will make $300,000. Considering a top rookie will make 10 times that I can't any big stars signing with them.

Apparently the teams are basically college reunions. The one in Bama is full of Bama players

no kick offs, no extra points...stupid but propably for insurance reasons.

no TV timeouts...I bet that changes if they got paid to have them.

Seriously you saints fans are really pushing the sympathy out the door. Grow up. It sux. Hopefully it changes, but nothing is going to change. Root for the pats or dont cause yalls luck kinda sux right now.

Seriously though...stop being whining so much.

I love the two feet in rule. It separates the pros from the pretenders.
