Butter, if you can even find butter. Everything is margarine or made from some kind of oil, canola, vegetable, etc.

What grocery store are you going to? Every single one near me sells butter by the 8 pack.

How about a decline in size too. Some of these toilet paper rolls are narrower than ever.

Safety features in new cars are Soooooooo much better. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure and spending a bit more for a car with them very well might save you tens of thousands in repair or hospital bills.

I mean how many rear ends where someone slams on their brakes in front of you and then gets out grabbing her neck could be prevented because the safety system could react before you did.

I know years ago that happened to me. Just the tiniest bump and distraction but my insurance had to pay out a ton and went up.

I'm not saying every brand is equal but there are definitely some that have markedly improved.

Everything. Almost every processed food item is much cheaper in quality today than 20 years ago. Along with cheaper quality shrinkflation has pretty much exploded in the last 8 years.

Canned chili is mostly liquid, hot dogs are tiny and look how much they have shrunk hot dog buns. Hot dog buns are almost comically small now. I made some hot dogs for the first time in over a year and was really surprised how much everything had shrunk. Buns, hot dogs and even the can of chili was smaller and it was as I said, mostly liquid.

I know... back in the day... old geezer... but it is true. You would probably be hard pressed to find anything that is better today.

Oh Family size bags of chips. They got rid of the family size and now the regular size is called XL or family size.

Chicken is culled faster than in the past so smaller pieces, then pumped full of broth so they can charge more. That shite should be straight illegal.

Sunny D used to be thicker and richer now it’s thin and tart

Bluebell was way better before they took the cancer out

When is the last time you bought a shovel, rake, hoe, or any hand garden tool that lasted longer than 5 years.

Don’t even get me started on a POS hammer today!

I have a refrigerator in my garage that is from the 1970’s. I’ve replaced a dozen refrigerators much younger than that at various properties that I own.

Yes, this really chaps my arse. Took a deep dive into TP roll size and found that Costco and Aldi's are the only places that carry real TP that fills the TP holders in my bathrooms

1980s Carrollton location during Mardi gras sitting on the curb tearing up a 8 count spicy will forever be one of my best culinary memories.

Small motors.

Pops house is still pretty dated and at 77 he has no intention of remodeling. In the bathroom they had the same heaters in the ceiling for 35 years. One day they both crap out. He gets what looks to me like the exact same ones. They didn’t last a month.

Same scenario for the attic fan.
