A better question would be what products haven’t had a decline in quality

The fabric that is used to make blue jeans. Now it gets rips in less than a year's wear. (I patch our work clothes so I can compare three decades of the quality going downhill/ abroad.)
Even Pendleton men's shirts are made from less well woven fabric.

Food: the taste of many fruits and vegetables has been sacrificed for survivability in long distance transport. (I'm thinking of grapes from South America and a lot of the tomatoes that are shipped out of Florida and California.)

That's cos they're made from cilantro now instead of flour.

Vienna sausages aren't as good as they used to be.
You have to get the ones with hot sauce on them to even taste them.
Cap'n Crunch has gone downhill too.

Appliances- dishwashers, washer/dryers, fridges, etc. The more digital stuff they put in those things, most likely they will break down or parts will need to be replaced.

wholeheartedly agree with this.

mechanical age > technology age.

they're just applying their "you need a new iphone/pc/computer/ every 2 years" crap to devices that we perfected 75 years ago.

there is no argument you can make that a sturdy, reliable appliance suddenly needs some kind of electronics to keep food cold or spin wet clothes in a circle.

Viva paper towels - Rougher than before. I wish I had an roll from 10 years ago for a side by side comparison

I can't find the full sized ones anymore either. I hate the select-a-size half paper towel frickers they push everywhere now.

The chicken sandwich is the best fast food sandwich I've ever had.

Cars

Man. I got to work this morning and turned off my car. Opened the door, and the radio was still going. Strange. Went around to passenger side to get my stuff, and it was still going.

So I got back in, started again, turned off again.. same thing. Locked the doors and walked into the office in case maybe I just need to get the key away. Nope. Go back out there and I see it's STILL playing through the windows even without the key!

Had to manually press the radio power button. Car's forum says it's because I have a software update to do?

I don’t know about honest but definitely higher quality content. The larger every site or platform becomes the more generic and boring the content

It's tough to think of any corner of the internet that's gotten much better

Youtube has a lot more quality content but that's about it

Social media is garbage, almost every major news outlets has their articles behind annoying pay walls, AI bots dilute the quality of content almost everywhere....thankfully it seems to be well policed here

I don't know if it's hostess or not, might be little Debbie, but the honeybuns leave this plastic feeling film in my mouth. Haven't had one in forever now.

boring, generic and inaccurate

The Shreveport Times website had an article that stated that the 3rd Judicial District Attorney was the first and only black DA in North Louisiana. Richard Johnson was the first black DA in North Louisiana and Carl Stewart, the present Caddo Parish DA, is black.
