Kitco Anybody else here invest in silver and gold? Silver is at $24.86, up about $7 since two weeks ago. Why the trend? Gold is $1944.30.

If our government still used any appreciable amounts of precious metals in our coins, I’d say they’re cranking up the mint(s) again.

This is sincerely a shocking price. I was amazed a few days ago when I saw where it was. Someone somewhere is buying the shite out of it.

Nothing means shite anymore. After the world economy collapses and the dollar is worthless, so will gold and silver. Do people really believe that gold and silver will be worth jack shite if hyperinflation takes place in the US?

I own LEAPs in gold, silver and both the gold and silver junior miners indices. Been fun for the past few months.
