The president wants to bring manufacturing back to the USA. Weakening the dollar will definitely do that.

This is sincerely a shocking price. I was amazed a few days ago when I saw where it was. Someone somewhere is buying the shite out of it.
China is buying the shite out of it
They probably have a significant amount of gold reserves not actually reported.
Unless you believe that Italy has more in gold reserves than China

Silver hit over $47 in 2011. It has been weakened ever since then.

I have AUY, EXK and SILJ in my investments, they have all been climbing the last couple weeks, seems like every time Elon Musk mentions various metals used in battery production, prices go up.

I always thought it was strange that a lot of economic doomers went from hard assets to BTC, which to me is even more abstract than the Fed's electronic printing press. But, I understand the idea that it is finite.
I was big into economic doomer porn in the mid 2000's and that really got ramped up around '08. That kind of thinking is back in style with the pandemic. I have always felt our fiat currency, fractional reserve, debt-based infinite growth economic system is doomed to fail at some point. I've just never been able to determine whether hyperinflation or deflation will win.

After the world economy collapses and the dollar is worthless, so will gold and silver. Do people really believe that gold and silver will be worth jack shite if hyperinflation takes place in the US?
Well, gold does have a 5,000 year track record. It will have value well after that paper we call the dollar is dead and buried.
