We told our people to do whatever tf they want for the rest of the week but let us know they’re okay or if they need help.

It is a money thang. If they tell them not to come in, they have to pay them. If they call in and say they are not coming, they have to use a sick or vacation day. This, while telling them how important they are.

Woke up around 4:30. Getting some pretty heavy wind and rain here in North Florida. St. John’s county.
Looks like the bands are coming in now and will continue for the rest of the day. I am about a quarter mile from the beach. Expecting some flooding in downtown jville. St. Aug is going to flood bad. We have been having wind coming from the northwest for about 48 hours. We are in the middle of king ride season and that will add to it. High tide this morning is around 9:00 am east coasts time. That will be brutal for areas along the St. John’s river and beach areas that are not protected.
No tornado wanting a have come through yet.

This storm has largely been ignored. Hopefully that's indicative of its likely impact

Cantore is going to blow his load in his pants if that building finally collapses.
Hanging out here at home today. Light rain and some 50mph gusts
Gonna grill some steaks later

I think the flooding is going to be bad for St. Augustine.

Back yard pretty flooded in South Jax here but at least the wind has died down. I'll take this any day for a tropical system

Had very little action after 10 pm in South FL. Hope y’all further north are well

Yeah not much action in West Palm Beach. I'll take it. Hopefully it fizzles out.

Lotta wind and rain and power has flickered three times in St. Augustine. Downtown is flooding, but that was expected. Hitting high tide now.

Yeah. Not much rain in Jax but some good gusts.
Friend has tree on house not far from me.
Eta:
Welp, rain picking up now as is wind.

Any word on how Cocoa Beach made it through?

But will the fortress hold?

Looks like she’s going further west than expected yesterday before turning north.

Big storm, lots of surge relative to category.

Yeah. They have reduced our rain expectations due to that move west I guess.
Not even raining right now here.
