Thanks for putting this up. As soon as I saw there was some potential of late season frickery, I came here to try and get the scoop.

Got tickets to the SCAR game this Saturday (in before UForfeit, etc) on top of living in the northeast FL coast, so not thrilled at this.

Bump. Doesn't seem like the OT is too concerned about. Understandable due to it being projected as a weak hurricane, but CFL is worried. Still a lot of flooding issues over here from Ian. If this thing dumps a lot of rain it could be really bad.

Could this turn in to a nasty nor’easter?

This one is big, so its going to be impactful. Just a busy time and its November, only Florida gets shite this time of year.

It's odd. I'm in the Ocala area and winds and rain all day today.

Nope, I have no issue with you. Other people seem to have a problem with meteorologists in general.

Outside of cold fronts meteorologists suck at the weather. Particularly down south. The two easiest jobs are weathermen in the desert and in the south east.
In the southeast you can say 50% chance of rain every day and 50% of the time you are correct and no one will hold you accountable if you aren't.

In the desert, just say sunny and dry and call it a day.

We already have a nor'easter here in northeast Florida plus the king tide, and just had the full moon. So flooding for downtown and the beaches is the biggest concern with this one since we're already swelled.

An amazing statement when you consider how good forecasts for hurricanes have gotten over the past ten years.

Great example was Dorian in 2019. Sitting as a Cat 5 over the Bahamas. Zero evacuations in Florida because they had figured out it wouldnt get there.

Do that in 2008, and a couple of million get evac orders.

Nicole isn't sexy enough for the OT, but she's looking alright under the skirt right now.
