Posting about a friend’s death on social media asking strangers to have sympathy for you is the middle class equivalent to ghetto people making RIP Tshirts with the loved one’s picture now presented as an angel in heaven. Sorry you lost a friend, but stop using his or her death for your own attention.

The white trash equivalent is “in loving memory” on the back glass of their truck. I mean, is your truck in memory of your podnuh? Really?

I'd say there's different ways to talk about the death of a friend on social media platforms that doesn't make it a pity party attention lure for yourself.

I don't think it is always about attention. People talk about things that bother them and social media is a place that you can let it out. I'm sure a lot is attention seeking but I doubt that most of it is, especially in this age of online communication and less real life communication.

Sometimes people will discuss topics anonymously here they'd never bring up with friends or family. You're an arse.

You're right.

It's another method for a person to live out their own narcissistic personality.

my fav is the obituary on the back glass in 1/2" script lettering that you cant read without running into them to do it

it serves double as a tribute and at the same time its bait to get rear ended for the insurance claim

No idea why you're getting trashed for this. You're absolutely correct. The vast majority of people who make those posts are only looking for attention.

Whining anonymously about someone posting publicly that they have grief is sad. PM me if you need help I will see if can find you a counselor. Best of luck to you. Take care of yourself.

I don't do it. I'm too private.
But, to each their own.
Different people deal with things differently.

People do a lot of things in different ways, that doesn't mean that particular ways can't be trashy.

All diversity isn't equal.
