If you have children, I would also suggest testing them for Airline Park Academy. Great school, better than most parochial and better than Kenner Discovery. It is an advanced studies academy and very competitive to get into, but it is a public school. Just like Metairie Academy but for people who live west of Transcontinental. Located off of Camphor in between West Napoleon and West Metairie.

Kenner has it’s own Mayor, but nice try.
And I know Mike and Michelle pretty well, so take it easy.

You tell Mike a lot of people still support him. That shite's between the legally able to consent boy he was sexting, his wife, and himself.

For the holier than thou crowd that witch-hunt him all while voting Vitter for Governor....
boning a 17 yr old boy or girl may send you to hell but not jail.

When? Then where for High School?

Left in 92 and went to catholic HS in New Orleans. Was the only person from my class at SEAS to go to that HS.

You might be insane. Kenner is going through a demographic transformation overall. The only area I would consider is the Chateau/ Gabriel area of far North Kenner....and even then I would be hesitant

Mike is really not Mike Yenni.....his real name in Mike Maunoir, he changed his name to Yenni for political purposes, because he is not the son of the late Mike Yenni

My son goes to Kenner Discovery, and my daughter will be starting there next year. Best decision my wife and I ever made was getting my son out of Catholic school and into KDHSA.

There’s a waiting list, so you might want to apply for next year soon.

There is a neighborhood, going up Loyola towards the Lake from the interstate, it's on the left just before Divine Mercy Church. Don't know what the neighborhood is called but pretty much all the streets have "Bayou" in their name.

Friends bought there a couple of years ago. Very nice place to live, lots of kids. Nice houses. I think they still have a few lots in there if you wanted to build.

Southlake Village?

I went there too, but likely a few years later than you.

I lived right across the street from the Woodlake Country Club.

I don't know why St. Rose ever gets love over Kenner. Most of St. Rose is straight up Hood. It's rough. I also love the 20' wide blocks near downtown too.
Yeah St Rose has decent one way in/out neighborhoods, but no amenities.

Cannes Brulee is anther good hidden subdivision as is woodlake estates.

On the flip side of chateau, behind the chevron and walgreens is a pretty nice and quiet place.

Holly Heights

Although the area behind the chevron looks slightly newer in relation to the other side.
