People will make fun of you for not living in NOLA proper but the average income of Kenner residents is higher than that of NOLA residents

There are some pretty shady looking areas near the industrial side of Veterans

Not a bad place to live but I don't know much about the schools. Plenty of good restaurants in Kenner and you're obviously close to plenty more in Metairie and NOLA

Kenner Discovery is an A rated charter school. Hard to get into with the lottery system though. I wouldn't trust any other public school.

Crime is pretty low in north kenner. There are five bad streets. Most crime happens on Clemson, Newport, Vouray, Panama and Martinique.

Police response is less than two minutes when needed.

Lots of good places to live close to the lake. Biggest issues we face is the lack of retail.

Unless you feel like going to the Mall

I'd say that's not a terrible problem to have

Brah v bruh are two types of people.

Brah is said to make fun of the bruhs. The bruhs hate the brahs. The brahs only say Kenna brah to make fun of the bruhs.

Mall is dying. We are fighting the pavilion. Lots of trashy people trying to bring city down too.

I joined a group of civic minded people to try and get shite moving. We are hosting the first ever "Clean up Kenner Day" May 19th.
Should be fun.

Kenner names one of the safest places to live in Louisiana

quote:

The city of Kenner was recently recognized as one of the safest cities in Louisiana,

Chateau, Woodlake, Pontchatrain Place, Gabriel are all above average income subdivision. Some have plenty money.

Police are second to none.

Plenty Saints players live in Kenner.

You’re close enough to New Orleans and Metairie, without having to deal with Metairie traffic.

It’s quiet. There are quite a few festivals each year out near the lake.

Laketown has really come up in the last 10 years.
Coconut Beach is out near the lake.

It’s a pretty safe and family oriented city. You’ll enjoy it.
