Not much of that left.

Children in China are like grown ups who are Democrats-- a rapidly disappearing breed.

So, grain of salt, as others have claimed this breakthrough and it turned out to not be true.

They sure have, including Lockheed, who had the balls to beg for funding partners despite them - being Lockheed.

And of course, nothing since.

Quantum computing would become exponentially easier and that would unlock some interesting things

Explain quantum computing to me like I’m a toddler. I read that a qubit can be a 1 and 0 at the same time. What are the practical applications.

That's where you compute quantums, man......come on! This is elementary type stuff.

I am not a scientist although I am interested in the stuff.

It could be a game changer for Weather Prediction for one.

For changing how we process fertilizer (believe it or not)

Optimizing Financial outlooks

Drug companies it could have a huge impact on, analyzing molecules

It would probably be a big breakthrough on the supercomputer side of things, I'm just speculating. Everything from weather models to advanced, computer driven research into stuff like tornadogenisis, wind and wind damage, and hurricane strengthening.

Dr. Leigh Orf is doing some of the most important research into thunderstorms and tornadoes using University of Wisconsin's supercomputer.

Just when we figure it out at room temp global warming gonna raise temps so it doesn’t work in room any longer.

LK-99 material can be prepared in about 34 hrs with extremely basic lab equipment (a mortar & pestle, basic vacuum, and furnace).

I have these 3 things at home.

Someone give me the ingredients. I want to make room temperature underwear that eliminates swamp arse so I can go on Shark Tank.

I think that only works if you can have a dehumidifier that will run off some watch batteries.

It was a moment three years in the making, based on intensive research and design work: On Sept. 5, for the first time, a large high-temperature superconducting electromagnet was ramped up to a field strength of 20 tesla, the most powerful magnetic field of its kind ever created on Earth. That successful demonstration helps resolve the greatest uncertainty in the quest to build the world’s first fusion power plant that can produce more power than it consumes, according to the project’s leaders at MIT and startup company Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS).

What ticker... when moon?

Seems like there'd be a shady SPAC out there looking for a piece of the pie.

It will probably result in the cone being even more accurate than it is now, which is more accurate than it has ever been.

1) Energy would be drastically more efficient

So is my monthly electric bill going to be 90% cheaper, or are the electric companies just going to keep all the profits and pass the rest on to us?

Depends on how much "green energy" the government is requiring them to invest in.
