Yep. I've golfed in shorts and a golf shirt on Christmas Eve.

I did get a nice fishing shirt this summer. I've been missing out.

I have been in SW La my entire life, there are no positives. Humidity, high temps, summer heat showers, it's extreme conditions.
Anything done outside you are covered in sweat... soaking clothes.
No... it is disgusting

Save a bundle on clothes. All you need year round are shorts, t-shirts, and flip flops.

Seriously. If you avoid your AC set to 68 and spend time outside, it isn't bad. Acclimate.

Do you think only the south gets more daylight during summer than winter?

It's really good for farming. There's not too many places in America where you can garden 6-9 months of the year.

September is just miserable though. By that time, it’s usually hot AND dry and you’re just sick of the heat. Usually by mid September, I’m counting the days until the 2nd week of Oct when we usually see the first cool front. Pretty soon I’ll start looking at the damn 90 outlook on AccuWeather, begging for overnight lows in the 50’s and a high in the low 80’s.

I just wish it didn't bleed into Spring/Fall as much. If you could reliably depend on temps meaningfully declining beginning in mid-August, I'd be good with it. But temps in the low 90s during the third week of football season is obnoxious. I particularly love seeing Octoberfest and pumpkin beers out when it's 100 degrees.

I personally don't want mid-70s on Christmas day, but I know some of you psychopaths enjoy that
