Positives of Southern summer climate
Posted by East Coast Band on 8/11/20 at 5:47 am2262
Summers are hot and humid in the South, but there are some good things:
1. Nice early mornings, rarely is raining
2. More daylight than winter.
3. For better or worse, you know what you're going to get everyday : highs in the 90's, chance of afternoon thunderstorms.

Yeah but I’d be OK with the unpredictability of Bozeman weather over this shite.

Yep, I love humidity so high that my doors swell and are damn near impossible to open sometimes.
LOVE IT!!

Hot as hell and humid
Chicks wear tube tops because of heat
No bra
Pop up thunderstorm
Cold rain
Win for the south

2. More daylight than winter.
Summer days are way longer up north. Get up to the 45th parallel, and you get ~16 hr of daylight at the solstice.
There are a couple of other good points about deep south summer heat/humidity...
4. Good for the skin
5. Keeps a lot of Yankees from relocating
Also, heat/humidity isn't such a big deal if you're not a fattie.

It keeps Californians away

Yeah there are no positives about southern summers. They are as miserable as midwestern winters to me.

So, just like everywhere else in the world?

It's going to suck... but at least you know it's going to suck.

4. Entirely too hot for the rioters, er, I mean protesters.

You can play a twilight golf round starting at 5pm and finish 18 holes for the majority of the summer.
Getting 18 in after work > putting up with swamp arse.

It is really only two and a half months that suck, most of July, all of August and Most of Sept. Outside of that, it is pretty darn good. Allows for outside recreation most of the year which is good for me.
