Pornhub, other porn sites requiring driver's license age check for Louisiana residents

I haven’t read the law, but the news article mentioned it may give a private right of action to the parents of children accessing the site against the site owner.

I think it's because internet anonymity is a perceived right. I tend to agree. However I think you are making a point that there should be an age verification to view adult content. I think consistency is necessary for some who are against this, but are looking to limit materials in libraries based on inappropriate content for children.
I don't know what the answer is, but I agree access to porn should be limited to adults. Drivers license verification is not it however.
