The most depressing part of responding to this is you could be talking about the church or the government.

There were a lot of popes waging war back in the day.

It doesn’t matter to Trump. Trump would have hated Jesus anyway. He’s not big on compassion, kindness, or doing the right thing. If you think he put a mob on his own VP when things didn’t go his way in 2020, imagine what he would think of a woke social justice warrior type like Jesus.

Jesus also rejects a church complicit in 100's of years and hundred of thousands of children abuse and atrocities. The conversion of S.America to Catholicism was not done w/ prayer and kindness. Im not anti- catholic in anyway im anti hypocrisy. Clean your own house before you go looking into others.

Dude must have been with the alter boys when they learned the Old Testament.

Thank God the Catholic church never started a war or else the pope himself would be at risk.

The pope is a little bitch.

Hmmmn, I guess his namesake Leo III didn’t have the same beliefs, as he named Charlemagne the emperor of the Holy Roman Empire…

Does God accept raping women then string them up by a crane and publicly hanging them for daring to show their hair?

Pope may be talking about the Iranian Islamic Regime, for all we know. The Regime has been endlessly at war with the USA, and, as we now know, has been building up offensive power more and more.
Did they also participate in a war in Gaza, start a war in Venezuela, start a trade war with everyone, blockade Cuba and threaten Greenland? Regardless of if you support the president or not, he seems to be a warmonger.

This is how you tell me in so many words that you only know about Trump what your masters want you to know about Trump. He's actually quite (and quietly) the philanthropist.

What about the prayers of priests who rape kids?
Posted on 3/29/26 at 3:15 pm to BowDownToLSU
Wow.
King David comes to mind.
It’s like this Pope needs to read the Bible more before speaking.

Let’s look at several verses before you started your quote to see what’s really being discussed. Your selective quote in bold.
quote:
Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom; listen to the instruction of our God, you people of Gomorrah!
”The multitude of your sacrifices— what are they to me?” says the LORD. “I have more than enough of burnt offerings, of rams and the fat of fattened animals; I have no pleasure in the blood of bulls and lambs and goats.
When you come to appear before me, who has asked this of you, this trampling of my courts?
Stop bringing meaningless offerings! Your incense is detestable to me. New Moons, Sabbaths and convocations— I cannot bear your worthless assemblies.
Your New Moon feasts and your appointed festivals I hate with all my being. They have become a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them.
When you spread out your hands in prayer, I hide my eyes from you; even when you offer many prayers, I am not listening. Your hands are full of blood!
Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong.
Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.

But I guess not those who work to build nuclear weapons and a massive ballistic missile/one way drone arsenal.
