It seems like an accountancy major might have thought to park it somewhere and draw interest until someone noticed. But the government would probably be entitled to the interest too so maybe that's not the best idea.

You call that enjoying?
The majority were all under like $5, and the most expensive was under $20. Now maybe exchange rates were the issue, but I couldn't believe how cheap it was.

But instead, Intellimali, the company that administers the financial aid allowances at the university, messed up and sent $1,080,000 in cash to the poor student.
Ross Bjork wants to know if you have the contact info for this company?

Still waiting on the pic of this Cinderella-like transformation.

I'm glad you know what her debts are. Most people if they are given a million dollars would initially go on a bit of a spending spree. She probably also figured they would take back what was left when they discovered the mistake. The posters on the OT are clearly the greatest humans on earth based on the self-aggrandizing and holier-than-thou attitude displayed. The Catholic church should just go ahead and beatify all the regular posters.

You've got to be the dumbest mother fricker on Earth if you think you could get away with spending all the money of what was an obvious mistake.

Most people, like yourself, are incredibly stupid.

She didn't actually think she would be caught, her behavior is proof of that.

Your white knighting for this moron is proof of the paucity of intellectual honesty of SJW's in these discussions when they arrise.
