If you were going to buy 3 older / unique cars that had to be less than $10K each, what would you choose?

Porsche 944 Turbo -

Triumph TR8 (may be hard to find for this price) - last of the Triumphs, had a small block V8

Datsun 240Z - not fast, but beautiful cars

I would have no desire to own 3 $10,000 cars. Those $10,000 cars would end up costing me $100,000 because I would want to change them.

81 Chevy Square body truck 2/4 drop
72 Chevy 4x4
69 Model ss Camero

They would start at 10k but would end up cost me an additional 30 to 40k per to look like this. Probably couldn’t even touch a 69 ss for anywhere close to 10k unless it was a giant heap of shite.

4th on my list.

I actually own a 944 Turbo. Every now and then I think about selling it, but then I take it for a drive and change my mind. At first I read 924 instead of 928 on your post. I kept thinking, "maybe I don't remember which one the 924 was". Yes, the 928's were very cool also, not so much the 924.

My first car was a Triumph Spitfire. I've also owned a 1969 TR6.

The 944 Turbo was fast, but not the fastest Porsche of the mid-80s.

That would be this number

ETA- Very nice selection though. I don't think I could do any better.

Don't think you'll get a good condition one of those for under $10,000.

Definitely won't get the Porsche in the Turbo version for less than $10K, even a ratty one.

You might find a decent one of these for $8 to $10 grand if you look hard enough.

This is more likely to find in great shape for that price. I had a 83, and I still wish I'd never sold it.

My first car in high school was a 71 Orange 240z. Mine had the bad arse black rear window louvers.

Funniest car to drive I ever owned.

Three Trabants, you’ll need to have all three to have one that actually works at any given moment-
