I'm not the biggest trump fan, but I feel like 30% of this country hopes this virus is bad because that somehow reflects poorly on trump? Pieces of shite.

I hope it pans out, and I'd probably take it if I was in that position.
But a lot of this seems to be driven by wishful thinking and anecdotal stories.
Hope it's the real thing though, and hope it turns the tide.
I also hope that both political sides get to a point where they quit looking at this thing through a political lens.

Sounds like the same evolution most western nations and governments went through honestly. UK wasnt even going to social distance. I think the whole world was caught off guard, but yea you're right, trumps fault.

We're to a point where the ideals of the parties are so divided and neither wants to give ground that every big topic in the country and beyond will be used to draw new battle lines.
