Moscona is still knighting for his buddy…..just settle so Woodward doesn’t get truly exposed
Saban was right of course and as always…..Catastrophe Syndrome wimps all over
All of the hoopla this week is not supposed to be how any of this works allegedly so why don’t we continue the trend and put the issue to bed and have people willing to cover the buyout stamp it with their name?

Seems like a good way to put the Governor in check, if a name was out on the line to cover it. To that point, who can know the names of the donor/donors?

Or I am I really ignorant and a lot of the buyout will come from our TAF donations? Will the “normal” fans really be funding part of the buyout? I keep hearing it’s “not my money”.

I’m no expert but apparently we have lots around so please learn me something

Liability for the remaining payout to satisfy the contract

Donor name paying buyouts?

Posted by Buttoncollector on 11/1/25 at 12:34 pm
Why have the names of the donor or donors paying the buyouts not been shared yet? I’m not talking about speculation from sauces, I mean let’s put it to bed and say Mr & Mrs So&so are paying
Everyone says of course the donors pay for this like it no big deal but why does it seem to be something secretive or not shared? I get someone may not want their employees to know their philanthropy is really just buying out failed coaches and ADs but somehow their must be some official assumption of the liability, correct?

How long can a cornpiler pile corn with that?

Y’all go by and drop a doe and get to chat up Miss Linda, thank me later
I can prove that deer don’t disappear when dogs chase them….they come back so I’m not talking about back to back hunts

I’ve had to drag off a rotted deer on my place that I didn’t waste and nothing is as disruptive to me
I’ve got a lot of bow hunters around me on smaller plots mixed among ag fields at my house. Twice a season somebody wants to check on my place. So you’re right nobody runs dogs around here. Everywhere else I hunt dogs are common. I’ve had a couple of lost dogs wander through while I was on a stand but never the Wild West people get within a couple hours of Baton Rouge of dogs running them off their stand.

a wounded deer is not disturbing my property as much as a pack of dogs

So a wounded deer crashing around your woods wouldn’t ruin a hunt? How about a wounded deer that dies under your favorite stand that you planned to hunt next weekend? Lots of ways for a wounded deer to disturb your property. Actually a lot more than a pack of dogs buzzing through.

This thread got hijacked into a trespassing thread on the second post obviously.

Again I’ve had many more instances of “innocent” poor shots wanting to come on my property than packs of dogs unfortunately
quote:

but as a property owner, someone having a wounded deer run onto my property is miles different than having a pack of hounds running around chasing deer on my property

Why is this “miles different”? I’ve had more problems with irresponsible shots by my neighbors than dogs trespassing. Why is it seen as acceptable to have a gut shot deer run across multiple properties? Take a clean ethical shot that kills the deer before it runs across your property line. If you don’t have confidence you can do it then don’t take the shot. Maybe we need limits on how much property you have to hunt period.
I love calling guys cornpilers and seeing them realize how silly it is to be so worried about where to get bulk corn the cheapest.

I have a gravity feeder out front because it’s gets the deer there so the dogs can tear out of the house at 0530 every morning and chase them off across the fence into the piney woods where they bed. Those dogs are in heaven getting to do that every day!

If I’m wanting to shoot a deer I prefer a nice pile of fresh rice bran. I feel like it’s a little extra special treat, like a last meal before I take them.

It’s not needed anymore

Tell me you’re for banning all hunting without saying you’re for banning all hunting.

Dog hunters don’t have the market on ignorance cornered, this thread proves that.

quote:

this thread really illustrates the problem

You’re right it does….guys who like dog hunting can’t discuss it without being labeled outlaws.
A lot of you cornpilers are complaining about what is actually poaching.

There is such a thing as legal, ethical dog hunting. And hunting with dogs has been around longer than any firearm hunting and definitely longer than thinking the “right” way to hunt is while wearing scent blocking panties with a carbon fiber bow or .300 mag

Every single one of my best hunting memories were dog hunts.

Ain’t nothing better than hearing those dogs open up

I’m a trashy old pussy who will shoot a button buck with a crossbow so my hunting morality isnt exactly mainstream
