This is true, I haven't really read a ton on him, but it would appear he has some smarts about it, so maybe my doubts about him are unwarranted.

Talcum X had his own donation site and a lot of the reviews said they didnt get their money.

He also set up a donation deal for the guy from Ohio who was shot, took in a good chunk of money, and sat on it, till the families lawyer went after him.

GroupMe really needs to implement a bit more control on what is capable of being a fundraiser and how the raised money is distributed. It seems like we see weekly stories of false/fake sad stories on GroupMe

Don't matter, the money was donated for him.

I mean, she did borrow $20 off a homeless person. It fits that she probably didn't have it. I mean who dresses like that doesn't have cash, debit or credit. Oh wait, trashy ppl who raise money then renig on it lol.

This is why you don’t give the homeless money.

Smart thing to do would be to have him come across some strong heroin and then let nature take its course.

Then no muss, no fuss.

Oh I know it happens, I'm just saying it's not surprising knowing all these details and her behavior. Still shocked she took the time to set up GoFundMe , but we'll probably find out this was pre-planned and more of a shite show.

Also , who asks a bum for money? That's pretty low in itself. Again, I know ppl leave money at home or what not, but would you even ask a homeless person for cash? Like wtf, now that I think about it.

From what i read they initially gave the guy 40,000 and he blew it in 2 weeks on drugs.\

for what that matters.

Well it's theft from those who've donated to the fund. Heard on the news this am that Go Fund me has some type of guarantee and the homeless/formerly homeless guy WILL get his money.

Also heard a clip of the judge telling the couples lawyer that she didn't want to hear from him anymore and ordered his clients be in court on a designated date.

Seems clear that gofundme and the courts are about to give them a lickin

GroupMe is a totally different thing.

GroupMe is a group messaging app.

Go Fund Me is a fundraising site.

what happened to the $400,000 they raised online

A good lawyer will argue that they had to be reimbursed for the time they spent setting up the gofundme page. That's only $200,000 each. And if you try to argue that they aren't worth it I would point you to the fact that they easily raised $400,000 for a homeless guy.

Seeing as how they are obvious liars, what makes you think the original story has any credence? Seems like this was some sort of scam from the start.

OT, is she still teaching?

GoFundMe is a scourge to society.

And ETA: They are scumbags, but they did exactly what Komen for the Cure, Wounded Warrior Foundation, United Way, and a lot of other big national charities do. Gave this dude a small chunk, and kept the rest for themselves. If the couple is guilty, then so are a lot of major charity CEOs.
