Is that GFM’s cut? Guess ~2% goes to CC fees and then OpEx, profit etc. not unreasonable.

Yeah. People are fricking stupid enough to give money away on a website where people can just set up a "fund". It's fricking electronic panhandling. You can't give money to a bum who had a sign that reads "need money to hire ninjas to avenge my family" and then turn around and cry fraud when he buys a Mickey's with it.
I agree completely with TH03 here and it makes me feel dirty.

What's the difference between this and the other bullshite charities that don't spend much of their donations on the cause?
