Bible app? I use it occasionally during service.

played on her phone 80% of the service this morning.
Sounds like neither of you were particularly focused on the message itself.

Crazy thought, how about minding your own business.

Probably not there by choice, or to please someone.
Not a good look, but better than not being in church as long as she's not interfering with someone's ability to pray
If by chance she ever makes it to the pearly gates, maybe St. Peter will be too busy playing on his phone to acknowledge her.

I use the Hallow app to follow the readings and responses. Sometimes I'm adjusting my insulin delivery so I don't pass out. Look up at the Lord instead of worrying about what others are doing.

Catholic Church? If so I could understand. That is boring“
It can be if you don’t listen well or comprehend what you hear . I suspect the latter is where your trouble lies

If the same boring stories from the Old and New Testament changes, let me know.

From time to time, if I don't have my bible with me, I'll pull up the verse were talking about. Or I'll look up additional translations for more context.

Doesn't sound like a positive in this case, but FWIW, I used to read all my Bible verses off the Bible app for the phone. I could find them faster and there were as many references and concordance-type things as you wanted.

I agree it’s disrespectful, but don’t let it bother you.

I had some cousins doing this at my uncle in laws funeral. If my pa-in law had seen that, he would have lost his shite and made a scene, rightfully so.
Its an epidemic, humanity has forgotten what its like to not be entertained every second of every day. I'm guilty of it myself.

I can’t imagine sitting through one of these godawful Catholic services without a phone.

Are you a woman? I fail to see the point of your post. Comes off like women gossip.

The Bible literally says that it’s easier for a camel to go to heaven than somebody with tattoos
shite, the tattoo shops in Tel Aviv are booked for months out (primarily secular and Reform Jews.) You won't be getting buried on the Mount of Olives, but still:
quote:
Tattooing is an explicit prohibition from the Torah (Leviticus 19:28). However, those who violate this prohibition may be buried in a Jewish cemetery and participate fully in all synagogue ritual.
