I'll read about it but don't care to listen to it again.

ATC has a lot to do with where they are allowed to fly. Can’t just go wherever you want.
If there’s a major weather system are you suggesting ATC offers no alternatives to go around? Ok, if not through Key West then from the north. Anything but straight through Florida?

Considered that, but she was communicating the entire time in the longer video even before the emergency happened. Is that normal?
Whoever is not flying is handling the radio/comms.

I think I've asked before in a thread like this, but how is it that ATC radio traffic gets out so quickly? Is it like scanner traffic and public?

I guess it’s up to the pilots to request it and for atc to approve it
Planes are designed to fly through shitty weather. Something else happened. Either a bunch of ice, a downdraft, mechanical failure, etc.

I do not like writing this but look how many of the deadly crashes are piloted by women

Chris is a pretty good follow for weather and first responder type stuff.

I'm curious about this as well, and I can only think your assumption is only plausible answer.

I believe websites like liveatc.net have live feeds of ATC traffic.

I guess it would have to be for it to come out so quickly.

They were flying at FL410 on a standard route to MYEH which is just ENE of Nassau. They diverted north and descended to FL350. Neither was a good decision. I have no idea why they didn’t divert to the south where the weather was much better.

planes tend to roll/turn right when they lose rudder? I would assume that would result in a corkscrew, though.
It was an intentional bank per the ATC comms.

Sure, too soon and should not have wrote that, and hopefully it was not the pilots fault but women pilots are represented at about 4x their piloting rate in deadly crashes....Just hope female pilots face the same scrutiny as males so fewer deadly accidents happen.

Not a pilot.
1) how the heck does a plane go almost vertical like that? Wouldn’t the wings provide some kind of horizontal stability?
2) why would you not divert around the weather?

I don't get the nose down high speed either. Did they lose the stabilizer?
They hit the ground at terminal velocity it looks like.

Not to play this game but most deadly crashes are men. Just by the sheer number of men vs women pilots.
Both get the same training and same level of testing.

In one of the pictures it looks like the horizontal stabilizer is missing. Could also just be a bad picture but you can see that the wings are attached. Alaska Air 261 had a jack screw in its stabilizer fail and caused the plane to pretty much nose dive.

It’s human nature to speculate and these aviation accidents threads never disappoint. Let the investigation play out. The investigators are very good at what they do, at least in the US.
And for all of those buying off on the DEI theory know that there are 2 pilots on most business jets and larger; 1 flies the airplane while the other monitors the flight and works the radios. The next leg they will more than likely switch roles. There’s also only 1 captain or pilot in command on each flight. Can’t really tell by listening to ATC audio who that is unless they explicitly state it over the air.
God rest their souls.
Probably. He has nothing to lose as his credibility and integrity are both in the garbage.
