I spoke to some older folks before the Texas A&M cotton bowl at Jerry World years ago who told me they hadn't missed attending a game since 1982.

At first I thought they meant home games, they corrected me, home and away.

Hip pads and tail bone pads went away years ago too and those of us who played when they were a thing know they were annoying, but a hit in the hip/tail bone hurt like hell for a long time.

How about the NFL and all the CTE drama but they do not require players to wear mouth pieces.

The best experience I had in Buenos Aires last June was visiting this small Wine bar/Gourmet Market in Palermo.

The owner Luciano is really friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He speaks perfect English and I feel lucky we just happened to stop in randomly to get out of the rain. Ended up going there every night it was open.

Met a bunch of people and he pointed us in all the right directions for our trip to Argentina.

He drinks with everyone in the bar and at one point he told me he had to walk home really quick and for me to watch the place (while it was full of people)
