Captain Steve is a massive twat. Shocked he didn't make a video the second the plane crashed.
Saw a video of him a bit earlier and he seemed to break it down in a calm manner without throwing a bunch of blame around.

He's a good video from a very well respected YouTube pilot:
blancolirio
Icing conditions likely didn't contribute to the loss of control, got into an over speed situation likely due to the weather, and either weren't able (had to memorize the checklist for over speed situation for usual attitude recovery) or couldn't recover the aircraft, which led to loss of the horizontal stabilizer bar. He also questioned their use of the onboard weather radar which is needed to avoid weather by 20 nautical miles. The radar requires experience, knowledge and finesse to use well to get the best data.

He usually is in front of the camera and green screened wearing his captain uniform ASAP. He has several times jumped the gun on stuff in order to be 'first' rather than correct. Honestly him wearing the uniform just makes it worse.

Well did they hold up their end of the deal or was it just typical recruiting lies?
No they absolutely held it up. I didn’t end up finishing flight school though, and I went ground.
Guaranteed contracts are a real thing, not recruiting lies

After reflection, I am no better than the hustlers. I have no idea what happened other than 9 people died in what must have been a terrifying last few minutes . A family, a young woman with her whole life ahead of her. I am embarrassed that I participated in the free for all. OT, do your worst.

I got an aviation contract while in NROTC. Of course, it being the Marine Corps they had given out way too many. Our first day at TBS in Quantico, they made everyone with an aviation guarantee line up at the infirmary. You walked in the room, "Cover your left eye and read line 5" "Q C 5 M E" "You passed"
About half of my company's aviation contracts got flushed in one day

Did you end up getting winged

This guy pretty much sums it up
Posted on 11/2/26 at 7:07 pm to DawgCountry
The same basic scenario happened in 1986 near Texarkana, AR. An 1124 Westwind entered a convective area at an altitude over 35,000 feet. The storm forced the aircraft into a climb, and it came out near the top of the thunderstorm and plummeted all the way to the ground, killing everyone on board. The technical aspects may be a little different, but the result is the same. You do not fly aircraft into thunderstorms. You may do it 100 times successfully, but all it takes is one time with the right thunderstorm to end at all. Just a horrible tragic consequence.

I heard it all day at work today too - that a 20 year old was sitting left seat
Wasn’t it already confirmed that the older pilot was the one flying it?

Don't be, many people are discussing this around the world today.
Job 12:10 – "In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind."
We do not know the reason why.. But maybe, just maybe, this tragedy may be a learning experience that could save thousands of lives in the future.
But no matter what. It is history under God's control. And to that you have no authority over.

He was very focused on this. It seemed more about using for marketing or sales, but the capabilities could be used for nefarious purposes.

According to his online profile, Robinson spent 10 years working on Wall Street before launching an artificial intelligence start-up called GetEmail. He later founded Retention.com in January 2020 and RB2B in September 2023, serving as the CEO of both companies.
RB2B's platform focuses on identifying anonymous website visitors and sharing their LinkedIn profiles with businesses in real time. Retention.com also operates in the website visitor identification space.
Robinson was also listed as the founder and CEO of MoltSets, a company he joined in June 2026. The Austin-based venture offers contact data APIs designed for AI agents.
