If this thing is weaponized then this version is likely contagious during the incubation period.
How that would work with a bacteria which results in significant symptoms 24-48 hrs after exposure?
Weakened virulence weakens the weapon.

Bacterial weaponization is dubious unless unusual aminoglycoside/fluoroquinolone resistance is a component.

Putin cannot afford the negative publicity of that.

What negative publicity? He can just declare that it never happened and move on. Do you think Putin gives any fricks about public opinion?

Did they immediately quarantine her and anyone that could have been exposed and then treat the area to kill the bacteria?

I think what happens is they immediately try to cover it up and hope for the best. Not the facility per se, but the person who was responsible and maybe a few coworkers. These shiteholes don’t have a lot of good jobs where you get to handle deadly viruses.

I am not a microbiologist but I have read that the Soviets were working on that at their anti-plague institutes.

I read this book last winter during hunting season (yes I am that big of a nerd) and IIRC the authors claimed that the Soviets achieved some level of antibiotic resistance. Guess where the where some of that research on the Plague was done? The place where patient zero worked.

Make all the quips you want but Y. pestis is nothing to joke about. Especially if it’s weaponized and we’re depending on the Russians to stop this thing.

Fooled by what exactly? It was a global pandemic that killed millions of people.

They’re not going to do another pandemic. They already did that. The next new world order hoax thing is going to be something different.
I wonder if people who say shite like this are aware of how insane they sound to rational observers.

Link?
Google is the way

quote:

Newly released documents from Senator Rand Paul reveal that during the Obama administration, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) funded and helped design a 2015 experiment at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) that exposed vaccinated monkeys to aerosolized Ebola.

The study, which was not classified at the time, found that 80% of vaccinated primates died and exhibited severe lung inflammation, necrosis, and fibrin, whereas unvaccinated controls showed less lung damage despite also succumbing to the virus. Dr. Anthony Fauci later expressed alarm in his diary, calling the work a "stupid experiment" that "should have been classified" because the results suggested the vaccine worsened the disease and could undermine public trust in vaccinations during the ongoing West Africa Ebola outbreak. Following Fauci's objections, the National Security Council (NSC) agreed to classify the data to prevent its publication, despite NIAID reports stating no classification had been requested or granted.

What was the conspiracy? Covid was a setup for a bigger op later? A relatively mild "plague" to give everyone a false sense of security before they drop the real one?

It’s grounds for suspension/revocation of license in Louisiana.
If you are dumb enough to prescribe yourself or your family members controlled substances this is certainly true. Oddly enough this practice is actually allowed in several states. If you can point me to some documentation from the LSMB showing you can be suspended or lose your license for self prescribing a short course of non narcotics please share the link.

From the AMA code of ethics:

quote:

In general, physicians should not treat themselves or members of their own families. However, it may be acceptable to do so in limited circumstances:

(a) In emergency settings or isolated settings where there is no other qualified physician available. In such situations, physicians should not hesitate to treat themselves or family members until another physician becomes available.
(b) For short-term, minor problems.

I think a 1-2 week course of antibiotics clearly falls into the second category.

I couldn’t find documentation for Louisiana but this is what I see from Texas:
quote:

RESOLVED, That the Texas Medical Association declare that treatment of self and family members for minor medical problems, including prescriptions for medications is not, in the absence of substantive and specific evidence to the contrary, a de facto deviation from the standard of care expected of a physician licensed to practice in the State of Texas.

TMA Board of Councilors Current Opinions

TREATMENT OF FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS . One of the physician's primary duties is to alleviate suffering. Thus, it is ethical to treat family and friends in immediate need. In those circumstances medical records may not be relevant. The Board of Councilors cautions a physician treating his or her family or friends because of the potentially hazardous medical consequences. (Modified February 2007)

Not worried about bacteria infection we know how to treat.

Not if it's been stepped on the be resistance to doxycline, which is normally how you treat plague.

AI told me nothing to worry about, then I said assume the Russians are lying and it’s 100x worse than they are saying. (Kinda like the Chinese did in Covid) Apparently, then it’s a real concern.

Here are your drugs:

es. If you mean plague (infection caused by Yersinia pestis), the main antibiotics used are:

* Gentamicin
* Streptomycin
* Doxycycline
* Ciprofloxacin
* Levofloxacin
* Moxifloxacin
* Chloramphenicol — sometimes considered in particular situations, such as plague meningitis.

For post-exposure prophylaxis, doxycycline or ciprofloxacin are commonly used options.

Do what thy will.

Katy Hochul declares state of emergency over....measels?

Okay. I guess, but...

LINK

quote:

Governor Kathy Hochul issued an Executive Order today declaring a State Disaster Emergency in response to the growing number of measles cases across rural areas of New York and neighboring states. The Executive Order enables the State to respond more swiftly to the outbreak and allows healthcare professionals to take additional steps that will help get more New Yorkers vaccinated and tested, if needed. The Governor also received her seasonal flu shot and urged all New Yorkers to receive this year's flu vaccine to protect against infection. The Governor is committed to putting New Yorkers’ health and safety first and has directed the New York State Department of Health to share frequent public notifications and resources throughout this flu season.
