Shite! Still not a reason to panic but it is a sign that things are not going to plan in Russia.

What is the point of being an authoritarian dictator if you can't even lockdown Siberia?

They’re not going to do another pandemic. They already did that. The next new world order hoax thing is going to be something different.

2/10. No need for panic but government and health officials should be following the story.

No panic whatsoever is warranted with this. People need to stop looking for something that's not there.

The epidemiology between this and CV19 are significantly different. Unlike CV19, pneumonic plague does not have a substantial pre-symptomatic infectious period. By the time you're contagious, you are already feeling ill.

The lab that patient zero was part of the Soviet Union’s bioweapons program. If this thing is weaponized then this version is likely contagious during the incubation period.

The broken test tube just doesn't track. It has "Wet Market" vibes. If you are working with something that virulent and that contagious, you would be wearing high level PPE and be in a secure lab with multiple redundancies and airlocks. You would immediately notify the director of an accident like this.

Pneumonic plague is treatable. She knew she was exposed. This should have been a non issue, but she was allowed to go to a public hospital?

This is not what they are saying it is. And it sure as shite didn't happen the way they are saying it did.

Not only that but she was not given any prophylactic antibiotics. Something doesn’t add up. It’s either a major screw up or a cover up. Either way it negatively affects my confidence that the Russians can contain this thing. However I would love to be made to look like a fool.

If you’re an MD why are you paying a premium to have someone prescribe you meds instead of just doing it yourself?

It’s generally considered poor practice for MDs to prescribe their own meds to themselves mainly

It’s grounds for suspension/revocation of license in Louisiana.

No. The movie "Inferno" is fictional and takes place in the 21st century. It is not about the Plague of Justinian from the 6th century, if that is what you are referring to.
