No you don't.

I will take the bear, even one that knows Kung Fu

how?
it's faster than you on ground and can climb trees better than you can.
A grizzly won't climb a tree. Black bear will.

I'll take my chances with the Gator. I just watched Grizzly man last night and it is in no way influencing my decision

If Happy can take down a gator, I'm confident I can too.

Are we talking about this?
Or this?
I'm a land animal. I don't want to fight a 1100 pound water animal in the water.

I was able to watch grizzly bears get fed at a preserve in Alaska. They used a front loader to dump a quarter of a moose into the area where the bears were waiting. There were two males and one female. The female held back, and the smaller male made the mistake of trying to get the first bite. That pissed off the larger male, who attacked him. The smaller male took off, with the bigger male right on his heels. The big male chased the smaller on for about a quarter of a mile before turning around and coming back. They covered the distance in about 1/2 minute.
They are unbelievably fast. And big. The ground shook as they ran, and they were running faster than any human can run. It was crazy.

Really though, I'd rather deal with the gator. Something tells me that as long as I'm not near it's nest/young then there's a good chance it'll decide that my size isn't worth the potential effort.
A grizzly on the other hand... Lewis and Clark wrote about them and how the men quite feared them; they weren't afraid of the camp fires; they would track them for many many miles then attack. They are know for their violence and propensity to attack without provocation.
*** This all changes if we're talking about a crocodile instead of an alligator, or a black bear instead of a grizzly.

I'm really surprised so many pick the grizzly as well. I grew up on a bayou side where we constantly had gators at the back of our property. If a little dog was back there, you could see them eyeing it. As soon as a normal sized person walked up, they freaked and went away. We swam in that bayou without fear.
I wouldn't want to be thrown out of a boat on top of one for sure. I wouldn't want to sneak up on one. But if I'm on the bank and 25 yards on land is a grizzly that's for some random reason afraid of water, and 25 yards into the water is a gator, I'm cannonballing into that f**king water in a heartbeat. That gator is going to take off. Crocodile, no thanks.

We used to wakeboard in the area the Houma guys from swamp people catch gators. They don't mess with people

I agree and I always carry a roll of tape to wrap around it's snout.

You're dead either way. Grizzlies kill their prey before eating them. Gators and crocs eat them alive. Also, the grizzly won't eat you if he's not hungry. Crocs will.

wait...who's on the bike? cause I could totally outrun a circus Grizzly on a bike also they only go in circles

Gator all day. They usually won't even come near you. Crocodile is a different story. If it's between a large crocodile and a large grizzly bear, then I'm gonna start swinging on that bitch arse bear. Hopefully after he mauls me he will think I'm dead and leave me alone long enough to drag my broken body to safety. Or maybe get to a tree where he can't get you.
A croc will hunt you down, tear off your limbs and eat you. No chance with that fricker.

I'll take the bear and then run to the nearest lake/body of water and jump in hoping the bear won't be able to swim.

pretty sure you have this backward
how is a gator going toe at its prey alive when it has no arms to hold it down?
they call it a "death roll" for a reason
