Who remembers this place? It was next to Chili’s on Bennington, opened around 1984/85.

I seem to remember driving past it a few times, headed to Destin for an annual vacation, maybe?
I remember it looked like a gray spaceship with PHOTON in red neon.

I was too young to play at that time but I remember them having the best arcade games in BR.
Too bad they went bust about 2-3 years later when all entertainment in the oil states dried up.

It was the shite. The Halo like course with the gray carpeting and smoke machines. Had the dope ID card as well.

A good surge buzz and a game of laser tag at the age of 10 is literally as good as life gets.

I actually played in a Photon league, it was a blast.
We used to do all kinds of stuff. The best was to have a teammate hide behind a barrier and use his gun to shoot with so it wouldn't get disabled from receiving hits.
I am sure the experience could be even better with modern electronics.
It was actually a pretty good cardio workout from all the running and ramps in the arena.

I got to play one game. My mom was going to let me play another game but gave me option take the $3 to the arcade and watch a photon matches when done.
We were poor. But it made some awesome memories.

My parents always said it was too expensive amd never took us there. I got to go one time after weeding my friends moms flower beds all day, she took us to Photon.
All I remember is that there was a red and blue team and I was blue.
I played virtual reality about a year ago in Tulsa and thought back to go far this has come. VR was bad arse. Re-watching the replay, I was trying to hit zombies with the stock of my gun. I really got into it and looked like a freaking dumb arse, peering ‘over the edge’ out of a helicopter and watching my balance on virtual raised sidewalks. Crazy how lifelike it is.

Raises hand. It was legit.
I remember my best friend and I going the first time. They gave you a photo ID. It's the same building as Drago's.

I remember I wasn’t tall enough to play and by the time I was it had closed. I was so fricking pissed.
Lots of memories there of the various music stores that followed. Once my dad dropped me off there at 6 am to stand in line for him to get ZZ Top tickets for him while he went to play golf. Brutal.
