BR had some of it before Katrina and Obama like the hood off O’Neal
Katrina contributed by rapid population increase and then Obama drove the nail in

Is it really a negative though if those that don’t buy things don’t want to go to your store and then the crowd that does will go back?

It’s a factor for sure, it’s not the one cause.
The causes of BRs demise really started with the Parker ruling. Then you throw in greed with low income housing being allowed to patch into decent areas of the city.
The city was violent in the 90s for the most part just like Nola or any other major city the crime was isolated and blocked off.
Then you have a major overnight population boom and a lot didn’t leave.
Then add in Obama and his section 8 agenda.
You top that off with the federal gov incentives for single parent house holds and a corrupt bad legal system with a DA that doesn’t do a good job and it’s a disaster for a capital city.
BR isn’t unique and the same shite would have happened without Katrina, it just added fuel.

All malls in the Philippines have security with metal detectors at all entrances to the mall. They check your backpacks, purses, bags and your person with metal detector wands.

The mall of Louisiana has been trending in a bad way for a while now. Today’s shooting is disgusting and so sad. I have noticed at Perkins Rowe a contingent of ghetto trash lately as well. The city and the PR business owners need to see this and be very concerned because that shite will migrate there next.
We need to stop giving respect to those who demand respeck. That is the problem.

In reality, they don’t. They don’t care about anything but respek.

They ruin everything. I remember when the boardwalk in Shreveport was awesome with families and teens everywhere and it was safe.
Then "they" showed up and it went to hell. Fights, shootings, stores starting closing and now it's a ghost town.

Had to run the 19yo up to perkins rowe this evening most of the stores closed early today and I noticed alot of the stores are empty. They did have the concert going in the middle and it was packed with families but if that was me I would have my head on a swivel cuz that is the type of spot shite would pop off at.

It's a shame to hear PR has gone so far downhill. Are the apartments there still occupied,? I was under the impression they were pretty expensive.

Isn't perkins rowe now in saint george?

What's to worry about? St. Georgians can't take matters into their own hands? Need big brother baton rouge to help out with little old perkins rowe too?

Problem is by pointing it out and having enforcement on hand hurts feelings

Nope. Their Liberal Governor turned it into a Sanctuary State. Loaded with Africans, they just haven’t been here as long, and are sticking to fraud for now.

I passed through PR today before the mall incident and noticed those mobile police camera units up in several spots. I wonder if it was for the concert or if they're going to be there for a while.
