Not me. But I did walk over 1500 miles last year. Two hours so far today will probably get another hour in after this game. I walk now because I ran too much when I was young. That's what you don't know when you are young. It doesn't last forever. I pity people who squander their youth through sedentary lives. What I would give for one day like I was at 28.
edit-I could walk run a nine minute mile but it would look ugly as shite.

This may be the truest statement ever uttered on the OT.

If I had to peg a number, I'd say 14%. Most of that from the younger, not quite ready to fall the shite apart population.
Its worth remembering that even among populations like experienced 5K racers, the average mile time for men is in the 8 and a half minute mark-- and that's before we get to the lazy sack of weasels that is the general population, which is going to be precipitously worse than the performance of regular runners.

That's a 7:30 mile pace, that ain't bad at all, especially if you are running 7 of them

Currently running mate 6:30 mile and a 15 minute two mile. Hate distance running. Too old for that shite.

I’ve run for most of my life. If I’m around 9 mins I’m having a horrible day. I try to average just under 8 for my long runs(4+)

And you’re not sure you can run a 9 minute mile? I assume you are just mathematically challenged.
My sarcasm missed its mark. Looks like most people found it unfunny.
They can’t all be winners folks.

I used to be able to do 430 when I ran cross country at LSS. Now 45 years later and a balloon and stent in my heart, ha ha

I'm the lone u/v. I liked it.

1 mile? I could do it easily, especially if there was some type of incentive. Probably could do a 7 minute mile in that scenario.
Maintain a 9-minute mike pace for multiplie miles? Nope, not a chance, I’m fat and out of shape.

Just 1 mile? I would wager well over 50% if their life depended on it.
Average a 9 min mile for 2 or more miles? I'd wager less than 30-40%

Under the age of 40 plenty could do it. Over the age of 40...Only people who run regularly could do it.

Ran 5 miles in 46 minutes yesterday

You just gave it away that you don't really run.
Runners always give their times in so many minutes per mile, i.e. 7 minute mile

I can run 2 miles in about 13:06 and I'm 49.

I only need to walk to my truck and it isn't parked a mile away.

I actually run but not to compete. I just run to avoid more fatness. I run about 3 miles each day and usually at a 6 mph pace.
But my joke largely missed its mark. No big deal.

A 10 minute mile is not fast at all. Sure I can run a 9 minute mile right now.
