I always check the year the person died against the year of the car they are driving. Whenever the death year is before the year of the car model adds to the trashiness in my mind

If anybody wants to signal others that they miss me when I’m gone, this is the way to do that.

Can't imagine myself ever doing that, but people grieve in different ways. I know a guy who lost his 20-something year old son in an accident and has a huge sticker on his car. The man has not and never will be whole again, so I don't judge him. Whatever it takes to get him through the day and the rest of his life is okay by me.

Similar situation to guy I know. Lost his college age kid to cancer. He’s OT rich and has a decal on his car for memoriam. One of the nicest senior management guys we have at our company too

my husbands aunt and uncle did the same when their child died young. Made the camp a shrine to him and had decals made for everyone's car.

The amount of roadside memorials in Texas is sobering. Although of course I’ve seen them in all communities, I assume it’s a more frequent Mexican future thing. I go walking every night and every single time I take a new path I come across another memorial of flowers, pictures, candles, etc.

Let people grieve however they grieve. I usually stop and try to pick a weed and/or upright a tipped over candle and go about my way. R.I.P whoever.

For the record, vinyl on windows is more acceptable than a portrait of the person on the calf...

They are just attention whores. I fully understand grieving, but why do they want everyone knowing their business too? There is something more there.

These days people love finding something to complain about and/or some way to judge others. Why would anyone care that someone else has a sticker on a vehicle in honor of a deceased loved one?

Whenever I see it, I just move on. It doesn’t affect me.
