What kind dumb fricking shite is this? Let’s assume I want a 50lb mutt running through my fricking house. Yeah, assume that.

I love dogs and animals as much as anyone, but I completely agree. It's very boorish and inconsiderate to do as such - especially without specifically being told it's acceptable.

Oddly enough, it's always the "sissier" dogs being brought over (e.g., Golden Doodle, Labradoodle, Whoodle). I've never seen someone put up unannounced with their American Staffordshire Terrier, Pit, or Doberman.

I love when people show up with the dog. In most cases I like the dog better

Absolutely not. That couple should have asked if it was okay to bring their dog.

OP should have been upfront with them when they showed up, but it is never assumed someone can bring their pet to someone else’s house. That’s absurd.

I prefer unexpected dogs anyday over annoying humans.

It’s rude to show up without asking first. It’s not a fricking child and even then it’s still rude without asking. Don’t invite them again because they are likely the types that think their dog is their child. But be glad it wasn’t a pit

As a host, you should have made it clear otherwise

You can't be serious. Dog owners should ask if they are dumb enough to think it's a good idea in the first place.

Sad fact is, the dog was at your house for the game where the LSU offense and Defense ran roughshod on an opponent.

You don't want to jinx anyone so for the Texas game, as much as you don't want to, you'll have to invite that dog over so the Tigers can work the longhorns.

Get to inviting.

Not to pick nits with you, but technically he would need to NOT invite the dog. Just the rude owners.

But I'm picking up what you're putting down.

Then you put it in the Raptor room with my Eagle, and let them watch the game on their 60" while eating rodent meat wrapped in bacon. Good times for them.

The fact that you dont like dogs tells me everything i need to know about you.

Glad you dont have one or it’d probably be tied to a chain outside your trailer.

What if the dog bites the kid he knocked over?

Who gets sued? Possibly both of you.

That’s what you should have said. It wouldn’t have been popular, but it’s something to to think about next time some rude frick shows up at a party with a dog.

My brother n law really has a thing against animals in the house. Just doesn’t like it. He keeps their dogs outside. He had to gently put his foot down to my parents and they quit bringing their dog over too.

fricking hate people that bring their dogs everywhere with them. Same types that use the term “ pet parent”. Also those doodle dogs are retards. I can’t stand them, always a half bubble off at best
