Don’t worry tho, I will make a toast to all y’all sad chumps from my local brewery tonight. Sorry your wife’s body looks like shite now. Hopefully she won’t get bored with yall’s uneventful life and kick you out of your house and demand all your money for child support and alimony. Best of luck to ya pal

Wow you're projecting quite a bit.

I have no problem with people who don't want kids and just simply leave it at that. I can't stand the people who go on and on about how they hate kids how they are "kid free" and then complain about everything little thing kids around them do.

I think it's even sadder when we see parents whose only goal in life is to live vicariously through their children and completely give up their life to it. It's such a waste when you consider you can be healthy, happy adults with lives even with kids.

What's better: having kids who end up hating you, or not having kids at all?

I have a few friends who have almost no relationship with their parents because they had kids just to pass along their DNA. It was imperative for them to have kids and done only out of arrogance in this contrived view that they would "live forever" through the generations.

Then they turned out to be awful parents because they had their own issues. The kids grew up to be decently successful adults (despite the odds against them) and to this day they have almost no relationship with their parents.

So then what is the point to having kids if the person recognizes that they don't have the desire or even maturity to put someone's life before their own?

I have a wonderful relationship with my parents, and my fiancee and I have discussed having one kid, as we really don't see a need or have a desire for more. But I totally understand those who admit they don't want a kid and know they wouldn't be good parents. They are doing the world a favor.

Yeah, well, they can go frick themselves. Times have changed. I would rather travel the world, climb and ski the biggest and baddest mountains, and get some pussy along the way. To each their own

And I'll get skewered for saying that, but we all have defects. I have plenty of mental defects.

But going against a biological imperative is surely signs of a mental defect.

You actually believing this is one mental defect.

Do you live in a sate that allows for alternative lifestyle marriages? I pay for everyone else's, so why not yours.

When you're so triggered that someone doesn't have kids that you assume they're lesbian. Nice.

No sane person gives a shite what their ancestors from the 18th century think.

As if your life has to be predetermined just because of what your ancestors. Sounds like a sad and narcissistic reason to have kids.

The root cause of a great majority of the world's problems is overpopulation.

This is a major problem that no one talks about. We already see problems caused by population growth. It might be minimum compared to the larger issues that it will cause when we talk about massive increases.. But look at the flooding problems in Baton Rouge and Houston.. Which are caused because there is rapid population growth in certain areas (which is caused by people moving to these areas and not because there is just all of a sudden a lot more people, but it gives us an idea).

We all have defects.

Some defects are caused by DNA. Some by our environment in which we were raised.

Your insecurity to even admit such a thing would be a defect.

But, wouldnt not wanting to procreate also be going against the natural human way? Is that a mental disorder as well?

I have nothing against procreating. I just don’t want to support or pay for it after it’s born. I’m responsible enough to not procreate for this reason. That would be shitty.

Or when you see parents that basically worship their children. They think they are being these amazing parents by putting their children first in every single faucet of their lives. Their kids rule them basically.
We all know people like this nowadays. Instead they are actually failing at parenting and raising children that won't know how to think for themselves or solve their own problems in life.

Exactly. Many of the people who are mass producing children can't afford to support them and the people who could have few or no children at all. This has been a key issue in Europe where Yuppies enjoying their luxurious lifestyle don't want to be bothered with children. As a solution, their politicians decided it was a good idea to allow a Muslim invasion to fill the void.

I get that this world has overpopulation issues. But let's not act like everyone who chooses to not have kids is doing so for the greater good of humanity.

There's a big discussion in psych circles right now about building resilience in kids. This is definitely something contributing to producing some real shite heels who have never been told no.
