Women have a comfort zone of 2 degrees. Hot to cold in a flash.

Last night our house was slightly chilly. My wife wanted to turn fireplace on, the gas fireplace we have would taken the living area from 66 degrees to 76 degrees in about 15 minutes.

We’ve seen your wife’s feet in a couple of your posts.

She’s hideous

I turned both thermostats in my home to 70 degrees when they were first installed. Haven’t touched either since other than to switch from heat to cool.

I have a Nest.

Not sure what programmable has to do with people changing the thermostat

what's even more amazing to me is the number of people on here that think that a Nest, some other type ethermostat, will make an airy, poorly insulated dwelling more energy efficient just by installing one

Had the wife drop me off somewhere this morning to pick up a vehicle, get in her car and it’s set on 78, of course when she gets hot she’ll lower it to 62

Yep. Wife with fool with the thermostat on her car constantly instead of just hitting the "Auto" button that controls the temp for her. Then she gets mad when I tell her to not touch mine when she's in my car.

We now have the thermostat set to 74.

I've given up and just cracked the window in my office.

Feel lucky they’re only putting it up to 72 and not 80

On those 110 heat index blistering days, my wife will turn the thermostat down to 72 thinking it will catch up, and cool the house faster..

I have to tell her, if the house temp is 75 and the thermostat is set at 74 and it’s running all day, dropping it to 72 isn’t going to help...

If a small office, go flip the breaker.

Women should never have control of the thermostat unless they own the house. It will be a constant battle.

If you are cold put on a jacket or throw a blanket on.

If you are hot, pull dem titties out

That's why I love the nest.
I have it set to keep the house between 68 and 72.
