Nowhere have I said you need to 'take' extraneous electrolytes. They can come from various sources.
What are you saying here? All electrolytes we ingest are "extraneous" whether you est a steak or drink a Gatorade.

The above quote conflicts with itself and this...

There were several posts on here making it sound like I was advocating for people to use hydration supplements in their water such as LMNT etc when I said no such thing.

I’ve always been an excellent hydrator, but I think my water consumption has gone up a lot now that I’m mostly at a desk at work. I think it is a boredom thing.

I usually only use the refillable water bottles at the barn or gym.

He's been on one lately. Got into it with lsu777 the other day regarding processed foods. Quality entertainment Ron.

I just want to know if I will die by only drinking water when I’m thirsty or can I save myself by forcing water into my body by volume?

Hopefully they aren't following the outdated sodium guidelines. Altbought most people are fat and eat like shite so probably not an issue.

But drinking water all day without plentiful electrolytes is unhealthy.

Have you seen how many fast food threads are started on here? Someone has to educate the fatties.

4 pages of you nerds arguing about fricking water. Just drink when you're thirsty. Don't overthink it. Mankind has been around for a million years without having to debate this topic.

This is true. But in the past few decades mankind has stopped eating real food.

Ah yes, the body builder show guy here to tell us all how to be healthy. But I’m sure you are the one guy at the competition that’s ’doing it the healthy way”

ETA: I agree with needing proper amount, that’s why I don’t understand all these posts about everyone needing a gallon of water a day. A guy that’s 225lbs certainly doesn’t need the same amount as a 120lb female. I feel like for most healthy females under 140 lbs a gallon is likely more than they need.

Actually it does. Without electrolytes it just goes right thru you with no benefit really. You fatties can down vote until you are blue in the face it won't change anything. To be actually hydrated you need electrolytes with the h20. But keep guzzling gallons of water a day thinking you are doing something 'good' and 'healthy' it no different than the morons who do hours of cardio a day. Its pointless in grand scheme of things.

I know I'm not supposed to question God, but when he made the dumbest to also be the loudest, I'm going to need an explaination

I already commented that I aim for a gallon per day. Seeing as to all of my labs come back well within range, I will continue to do that.

I'm no doctor, but I always thought drinking a bunch water until your pee is clear was good for you.

Even if you could chew and taste that water hose while you drink it was good.

I just cycled for one hour and drank a single 12 oz douchebag container of water. How’s my hydration?
