Water, like out the toilet?

Well, that would certainly be iffy.
But I was referring to hyponatremia.

I did it once training for a race in summer. Scary shite.

Alkaline water seems to be the new thing. Why should I drink alkaline?

Not sure if it's true, but they say it's to keep the pH in your gut steady, or something like that.

It’s such a scam. Our blood pH is so finely tuned that slight changes would kill us. Fortunately alkaline water does nothing.

I connected the uptick in obesity with people chugging sodas all day early on.

water tastes better anyway once you make the switch. never have to worry about running to the store because you run out of water either like you do with sodas

I’m drinking water pretty much all day and it keeps me from grabbing snacks because I feel full.

Discovering the Mio stuff and its store brand clones was a game changer for me in kicking the Coke Zero addiction I had for several years. Hell of a lot cheaper too.

Mio and a Yeti bottle of ice are also awesome for flying because both go through security, you can fill up at a fountain, and you aren’t stuck paying $5 a bottle at the airport. Drink 30oz of water on a 2 hour flight and tell me you don’t feel better when you land.

I remember years ago I thought it was preposterous that frickers paid money for bottled water. Now, I'm one of those frickers that pays money for bottled water.

the Mio stuff

somehow i've never been able to enjoy these.

the liquid IVs are great on the other hand, yet they have raised prices too much for me to justify as anything other than a hangover cure.

I can walk 5 miles into the wilderness with no water, paddle out to the middle of Lake Borgne and not need any water. Go hunting where I'm walking, climbing a tree, dragging a deer etc. and MAY take a little 8 oz. bottle of water for the whole day.

My wife on the other hand needs a 40 ounces of water just to sit through my daughters 30 min basketball game and her car is literally right outside.

I thought you couldn't order the Starbucks Target one online, only the red and pink ones?

Idk. Just seeing women going feral and paying $150+ for those pink shimmery ones

She’s not thirsty, she’s bored. Or its “water” of the fermented grape variety

Without electrolytes it just goes right thru you with no benefit really. You fatties can down vote until you are blue in the face it won't change anything. To be actually hydrated you need electrolytes with the h20. But keep guzzling gallons of water a day thinking you are doing something 'good' and 'healthy' it no different than the morons who do hours of cardio a day. Its pointless in grand scheme of things.
