Look at the color of vehicles on the interstate. 95% of vehicles are black, white or silver/gray.

Didn't the 60s and 70s have a bunch of dark browns, bright yellows, pinks, greens and oranges?
Seems every house had those colors in the kitchen.

Maybe it’s just the people I hung around but it seemed like a lot of houses in the early-mid 2000s had at least one room in their house painted red

We were a happier and more civilized country when living rooms looked like this…

This why I passionately advocate for vibrant coloured endzones in football.
The 2025/26 season has been a banner year with several NFL teams fully embracing the trend

Denver needs to go back to this look full time.

But it’s so clean and fresh!
Next, let’s discuss corporate logos and font.
It’s all trash.

And 90% of cars are black, silver or white.

When I was a kid, a few years ago. I’d help my Dad paint the inside of our house. I’ll never forget the color, Antique White. Remember, back then, there was a lot of lead base paint!
You could be my brother if I had one.
The first time I can remember my parents painting the inside of our house the color was Antique White. This was around 1968.

One of the things I remember as a kid in the 90s is that houses had a lot of brown in them and I remember them all as being dark AF inside.

My parents are doing their part. They’ll keep their old painted walls and dark wood paneling the same until they die.
There’s still some shag carpet in a few of the less used rooms.
We did finally convince them to take the carpet out of the bathrooms and kitchen.

I really dislike the trend of painting exterior brick walls white or grey.
Yea, its certainly a thing. We are in a new subdivision that will have 1100 homes eventually. 400 are done now. Every single house is some kind of very light blue, light green or gray. Inside and out. Though I like neutral colors myself, every house being that way is crazy. Our house had gray walls and gray floors throughout.
We are starting to paint some of the inside a little at a time. Adding accent where we can

When we moved into our current house, there were so many shades of beige and light gray that it was a bitch to actually figure out which of the leftover paint went where when we needed to patch.
