You mean like this?

we just painted our kitchen pink. I like it

Laundry room is a deep purple, bedroom a light green, 1 hallway a deep green, and the 2 upstairs rooms are light blue. When we redo the kitchen pretty sure that's gonna end up being some kind of teal. Wife likes her colors, only thing that surprised me is she's left the wallpaper up in the half bath since we moved in and seems to like it thank God. I don't mind painting but frick dealing with hanging or removing wall paper.

Remember, this is from Sherwin-Williams, it's what they are selling.

The 1970s look like a line of Pancho shirts.

Fun fact about me, when i was a kid growing up in the 1980s and 1990s, and id see photo albums with pic sof my grandparents in the 1940s and 1950s, and id watch reruns of old shows like the Lone Ranger and Dick van Dyke- I assumed that the world back then literally WAS black and white.. like, i assumed the world didnt change into color until sometime in the late 1960s/early 1970s.. That’s a true story .

Our living spaces are neutral and then we use pillows, vases, lamps and wall art to bring in colors. It’s easier to change out accessories when you are tired of it than to repaint the walls. Plus, if you want to sell then the next person has a neutral backdrop tp accessorize the way they see fit.

Purple master bedroom, blue kitchen/dining room, tan living room and boys bedroom. Green exterior.

My realtor last time around called It "agree-able gray"
It's basically a play it safe color choice that appeals to almost everyone. It is rather bland though.

One of the things I remember as a kid in the 90s is that houses had a lot of brown in them and I remember them all as being dark AF inside.

I thank God every day I didn't marry one of those basic white bitches whose dream is to live on 3.2 acres in one of those soulless solid white monstrosities they call "farm houses".

Metallic Pea? No! Antarctic Blue!

Somehow, this feels appropriate.

agreed - this trend of everything being painted white is fricking the worst. the people we bought the house from painted the natural stone fireplace white.

My favourite colour is Taupe, cause Taupe is dope.

I'm currently staring at peak 60s wallpaper from my desk. There have been talks of updating the walls but I'm prepared to fight every one of my coworkers to keep it.

Benjamin Moore Paints has a "historic paints" sets of colors based on paint that was used way back when. We used it for exteriors on our 200 year old farm house and people asked about it, and now other older houses are painted that color within five miles of ours.
We've also used some of those interior colors for our dining room and master bedroom which are large rooms and don't need the light colors to make either look bigger.
