The only way you’re sniffing close to 80 grand for an S2K is if it was the club racer. The market for the S2000 hit its peak around 22/23 and has since come back down to earth.

I rode in both Endymion and Orpheus this year. Hands down the throw most people lost their shite for in both parades were small parasols with the tassels on the brim. More so than the “titty beads”.

As someone mentioned earlier, frisbees were a hit. Although the faces in Orpheus were a bit letdown when they realized they weren’t tambourines I was pulling out.
A guy on the top of the float I was riding on in Endymion threw about $5k while we were riding down Carrollton. When we saw it flutter down we thought it was fake at first till we picked some up that landed on the bottom. Made a cool $58 bucks that ride.

Zero Zulu riders or truck parade riders will be kicked off

Fun aside: the Blaine Kern Mardi Gras float that has been following a parade a day, that looked like an out of place misfit float with all the cameras and audio equipment on it, was also supposed to roll in Zulu.

Word came down yesterday that they weren’t getting to roll in it due to all of this controversy and white riders wearing “black face“ would be another controversy.

People flew in from other states to ride in that. My friend‘s dad made coconuts for a week to prepare. What a world we live in.

No, you’re thinking of Australians.

Our accents are completely different. They’re like where’s the caaa? And we’re like where’s the caaa?
This guy is being elevated so high, so fast. If CBK thought the pressure was on when he started…..lol.

Here we go.
“Snakes carry venom that kill people, they technically aren’t the ones doing the killing”

That’s how you sound.
It’s not splitting hairs. It’s mosquitoes, and it’s not even close.

Well if your paying with a company card and using a visa app like spend clarity you need to upload receipts to reconcile the charges.

The best thing my company ever did was switch to element for our fleet maintenance. Our vehicle and fuel card is assigned to an individual. The prompt only asks for user password and vehicle mileage. All that is tracked with them now, no more receipts. Our PO credit card is another issue.

What’s the OT‘s definition of “affordable” today?

OT Balla:

Quarter of $1 million car just went for under 170K on bring a trailer. “High mileage” 60k

OT poor:

Same mileage as the above, but half the price At $85k

ETA: just saw the $45k threshold. I don’t think there’s anything I’d want in that tier.

re: XOM Stock

Posted by P0SEIDON on 1/15/26 at 8:52 pm to
That’s how I would calculate it. XOM was a Covid play for me as well. I got in at about $44 a share or so Which had the dividend yield hovering close to 10%. Over the past five years, with DRIP turned on, that has brought my cost basis to about $49 a share.

Currently XOM pays $4.12/share. At a current valuation of $129, yield is 3.19%.

My cost basis at $49 puts the $4.12/share paid at a yield of 8.4%.

Current value means nothing to my cost basis except what my DRIP is buying on dividend payment date.

Where are you suggesting a higher dividend yield than 8.4%?

Mrs. Rumsfield was an OT 8.2.

No one in that trailer comes close. Tan lines or not.
