Really? What degree off “how off” are they suggesting?
Fool me once, shame on you
Fool me eight times….
I distinctly remember a conversation amongst adults when I was a youngen regarding me and my friends use of “psych” and “not”. As we rolled our eyes at them.

“It means they’re teasing. Or the opposite of what they mean.”
“Ohhh, well that just seems silly.”

That’s what we must sound like to the youts today.

Bad rotations. Lots of injuries. Mean mugging and saying absolutely nothing. Enjoy those 4Q collapses.

This can’t hurt me anymore. I’m a Pels fan, my immunity has been built up by these very things.
I’ll chime in. I’m IUEC but on the build and install escalators side. (Those new escalators in the Superdome? Yeah, you’re welcome.)

It’s a good trade, and big money is there. But I’d be lying if I said the money for my knees was a fair one. On some jobs I make more than the GC, but I miss running the Crescent City Classic.

I’ll be able to retire early and that’s the consolation I’m ok with. And trust and believe, no amount would pull me back in.

He sounds stupid.
One of two things;
40 years in and didn’t have the wherewithal to save enough money to retire comfortably to where any amount pulls you back in.

Or two, if being a sparky is his passion, why’d he retire in the first place?

You’re 68, old man. Whats $25k a month going to do for you in your account when you reach the median life expectancy 7 years before the end of the job?

Sorry to hear about the cancer though.

I’m tired of high gas prices.

Adjusted for inflation for gasoline’s high EIGHTEEN years ago, gas today is still a bargain.

Sounds like you need a nap if you’re that tired.
Dumars will frick this up for the Pels to be revered in Detroit again.

That’s just an ugly rumor that got started.

Was it?
Liberal New Orleans voters:
“She was a gud mayor, she dindu nuffin wrong.”
What’s more important in this situation, does her needing to be there keep her from getting laid off/fired? That would sound more expensive than eating the cost of the tickets.

“Directors” is that even c-suite? What possibly could the company be going through that the executive team can’t handle and needs to FLY in lower level people? The real shame would be if she blows off jazz fest to attend the meeting about AI eliminating positions, and hers is one of them. Talk about a lose, lose situation.
Went for lunch and it was packed out. Got lucky finding chairs at the bar. Thanks for running my loaded tots to me. The runners needed all the help they could get. Gave Angel a big birthday tip. :pimp:
