So would implementing Sir Francis Galton's ideas, which you are skirting around the margins of. As the sage, Mike Ehrmantraut said: "No more half measures."

I'd pay to have your thread starting privileges snipped.

We should have been doing this for years. It removes the weakest from the gene pool. But based on the down votes I guess everyone prefers a society full of retards and paying endless taxes for their welfare.

Women who are taking government handouts should be on Norplant the whole time. Responsible young adults should be offered incentives to procreate.

I do believe that people who do not want kids, should have an avenue to get sterilized at an extremely small cost.

Wouldn’t it be more feasible for govt to just give $1k to a willing man to get snipped? Free of charge +1k to buy weed or whatever.
I say give them $5k to make it more enticing. There are a lot of dudes, especially brothers who have a lot of kids. I ran into a black dude I graduated with awhile back. We were talking and he had his little boy with him, He told me it was his youngest, I asked how many he had.. Dude told me 9. 4 different women. He wasn't married.
Now I don't care whether someone is married or not, but that's probably 4 different women, lets assume at least two of them has other kids for other dudes. Lets assume 3 or the 4 are on welfare.
If 9 kids end up having an average of 2 kids each, that's 18 kids. And well, you get the point.
I also personally think we have too many people on earth. 8.2 billion. Overall, people are having less children and I saw that the population is supposed to max out at 10.2 billion people and is then projected to decrease. A good number would probably be 4-5 billion people.

I remember reading an article about 20 years ago about a group project Prevention doing this.

Not if the ratchets are hoes. You could snip 90% of the dudes and 80% of the women would still get pregnant.

If on welfare and capable of working but won’t…snip snip

Wouldn’t it be more efficient to pay women to get their tubes tied?
Or, If you want any kind of public assistance for your child, come get snipped, before 2 children require funds.

My cousin's S-I-L had a surprise baby many years after her hubs got snipped and yes it was his.
And yes they followed protocol.
This was many, many years ago... in the early 70s maybe? Maybe snip jobs are more reliable now.

Pay them $10k, $100k, whatever. Virtually no amount of money is too much. Pay the women too.
I've gone from being anti-abortion, to being for free abortion and sterilization clinics on every street corner.

Sure. No problem tax dollars paying. Cheaper than lifelong welfare benefits for offspring.

Make it like $20k for any unmarried man 18 or older.

New babies in developed countries like USA are declining at the same time that immigration is being restricted, so it is unlikely your suggestion would be adopted .

doesn’t have to be black and white. it would likely help the declining birth rate numbers if you actually incentivized married citizens with jobs to have children. just an idea tho, call me crazy.

Why do men have to face sterilization? It is women who are receiving all the gov't aid.
