I'm always amazed at how well defined the coast is in these water vapor imagery shots. You'd think it would be much more difficult to see, yet it always seems to show up as a very distinct black line. Just a other one of God's little miracles I suppose.

Nasty, but still tiny and less powerful than Typhoon Tip. Reached 870mb, 190mph sustained winds and was larger than the continental US is north to south.
