Last time I checked back in April, influenza (the flu, an airborne contagion that is never going away) had killed 33,000+ people in 4 months into 2020...and that is with a vaccine available!
We don't shut down America & the world for the flu. The loss of lives is always tragic but life goes on. Why is COVID treated any different?

They will probably lay them off since this is the required warning. However even the title doesn't say they are laid off yet.

Was that Charbonnet person honestly so bad that NOLA took an import from California over her for mayor?
Your question should be: Are the voters in New Orleans so bad that they voted for Cantrell?
And the answer is yes. Stupidest human beings in America.

What the hell are we still treating covid like it's deadlier than anything we've ever dealt with in history?
This is baffling. So illogical. And destructive.

And the fact that a useless piece of garbage like that, who doesn't even pay her own taxes, is destroying the livelihoods of people who are actually TRYING to work and do it the right way is inexcusable.

NOLA will just re-elect her, or someone equally as bad. With JBE in control and Destroya wanting all dat gubment bailout moneys, Nola is dead!!! For shite sake they can't even take down a building that tried commit suicide on its own.

Many of these institutions unfortunately will fail, but will be resurrected with new ownership groups that will probably end up making a killing once society gets back to life as usual.
