My personal experience, 7 months post-Pfizer vax I got 'rona from someone else who was vaxxed. The four of us all had light cases and were back on our feet within a week. Most of the un-vaxxed I know personally, who were exposed, were sick for over a month.

No rumors, no ivermectin, personal experience.

5 positive tests (all asymptomatic) out of a possible 848 guests and 566 crew and this is somehow supposed to make the vaccines look bad?

Their herd immunity should have been at 100%.

I wonder what would happen on a cruise ship with only those who have gained natural immunity?

The bigger question is why are they testing on a cruise full of vaccinated passengers?
It's required by port authority

It doesn't even say "outbreak" in the whole article.

Based on the studies that JBE cited to continue the mask mandate, an outbreak is greater than two cases in a school of 400-2000 students.

Bad analogy. I know several people who have been seriously injured by flying loose items, including people, in accidents.

No. It makes the WHOLE POLICY AROUND COVID LOOK ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. Similar to how RIDICULOUS Israel is acting requiring 3rd Shot to do stuff indoors.

I will keep in mind that OP trusts JBE's judgment in these matters.

Because that applies to virology.

Immunization has always been a community effort. Always.

if that was the point of the OP, sure

but the OP was 100% about trying to form a narrative that the vaccines don't work
