Oh by the way, the family has filed a 10 million dollar law suit against the police.

quote:
Dravon Ames and his fiancee, Iesha Harper, had just left a dollar store on May 29 with their daughters, ages 1 and 4, and were in their car when they realized the older girl had taken a doll,
quote:
"When I tell you to do something, you f------ do it!" an officer could be heard screaming at the handcuffed Ames.
quote:
One of the officers told Harper, "I could have shot you in front of your f------ kids," according to the claim filed by the family's lawyer, Thomas Horne, a former attorney general for the state.
Oh by the way, the family has filed a 10 million dollar law suit against the police.

I’m sure there is more to this race baiting story. There always is.

$50 bucks says there's a hell of a lot of pertinent info omitted from the story

They can stick that law suit up their arse. Cops should have locked up the whole family - kids and all.
Laws need to be changed so we can lock up the kids and jail them. That is the only way these people will conform to the standards and rules of our society.

Police officers need to be robots. Human beings are flawed.
Nothing with emotion should be in charge of justice.

I’ll wait to form an opinion once the facts are presented in a court of law. The news media has shown itself time and again to just be an agenda driven gossip rag

Don't steal, the morale of the story
But hey, why should we hold parents accountable.

Better view of video
Cops roll up, guns loaded and aimed, screaming and cursing.....all over a $1 toy doll.
I back the blue, but I can’t back this.

remember this when the robot police give you a ticket for driving 2mph over instead of using discretion and just letting you go.

Agreed. There are a lot of people who need two in the chest and one in the head who cops never shoot because the cops' humanity gets in the way.

It’s really time we get rid of the 4th and 8th amendments. They have held this country back for too long. If someone commits a crime, just let the cops shoot them right there. Get rid of the courts and judges and all that liberal bs and just let police officers take out suspects on the spot, including their children. We have to go for their families too, because then no one would commit crimes anymore

You don't have to wait. You can read between the lines in the news story.
quote:
Dravon Ames and his fiancee, Iesha Harper, had just left a dollar store on May 29 with their daughters, ages 1 and 4, and were in their car when they realized the older girl had taken a doll, according to a notice of claim filed Wednesday with the city.
The couple drove the girls to their babysitter at an apartment complex nearby, where they were stopped and confronted by police in the parking lot.
So, they knew they had a stolen item.
quote:
"I’m sorry, I’m sorry," the man said.
Sounds like he knew that he had done something wrong.
quote:
Officers claimed Ames took a pair of underwear and that a woman with the couple, identified as Renita Biscoe, 48, had an item in her possession but dropped it as police arrived. They also claimed Biscoe gave them a fake name.
So, it wasn't just a doll. There were other items stolen, as well. And, someone who felt the need to give a fake name to the police.

The cop yelling at her to put the child down on the ground. It's Phoenix in the summer and the kid is a baby.
