So cheering 8 year old errors ok, but cheering them striking out bad, Pretty shitty of you to not consider the poor kid who committed the error.

Can you strike out in coach pitch? The rules for our LL is, in coach pitch, after 3 strikes you get to hit off the tee. Either way it's trashy IMO.

Wait, they are cheering a grown man striking out a small child?

I don't even think trashy begins to describe that.

had nothing to do with the ball rolling by backup johnny pissing his pants in left field who air mailed the ball sideways 20 feet on the throw in.

As a coach who pitches in coach pitch, I celebrate by pounding my chest and yelling “Let’s Go!!” after a strikeout

I do the opposite. I like bragging about how terrible my coach pitch ERA is.

8yr old coaches pitch baseball means that much?
Nope, but are you asking if I would have no internal reaction to my team winning a game?

8U baseball is coach pitch doesn’t really matter what the skill level is. Kid pitch starts at 9U.

How can you tell it’s an error with 8 year olds?

Why is the coach throwing smoke to 8 year olds?

In this thread: dozens of OTers who didn't read the OP or are too illiterate to comprehend it.

I'd wager a good 50% of runs scored in 8 year old games are unearned. Why do we get to cheer those on but not this?

What about if the kid that strikes out normally crushed the ball? We don't get to be happy about that kid getting out for a change?

My son is a beast in Tee ball. He's always on base, but the little bastards behind him never drive him in. No matter how much I scream and berate them, they never improve. The other parents get their feelings hurt over it, but who cares.

Coaches Pitch = No Cheering on strike outs

Player Pitch = Cheer for strike outs

Happy to help

Some kids have a very small area where they will hit the ball. I had one kid so small it was basically trying to pitch to a 6” square area without throwing hard. Not easy to do.
