Unless the OP changed the title, do some people not understand what coaches pitch means?

Sort of doesn’t matter. People cheer kids for doing nothing all the time.

Coach pitch cheering when the kid strikes out? No. Does this really happen? Lol
Currently in it. Did 7u coaches pitch all last year

Have played some EXTREMELY trashy teams. Have yet to see a strikeout cheered for

However I can’t say it happens often at all

I played little league one year as a young baw. I was terrible since I had a shitty dad who never taught me how to play. At any rate every time I’d get up to the plate it was 3 up and 3 down. The moms would all cheer for me and say “good try” and “you’ll get em next time”. I know they meant well but I always wished they’d boo and tell me I sucked. At least I could have appreciated their honesty.

had nothing to do with the ball rolling by backup johnny pissing his pants in left field who air mailed the ball sideways 20 feet on the throw in.
Hurts to see my little league career summed up with such descriptive accuracy.

Damn man, that sounds awful. They were probably just trying to encourage you. Don’t think too deep.

It’s ok to cheer for your kid’s team and I won’t judge them. That said, I’m not going to celebrate a kid getting struck out by his own coach when my kid’s team did nothing to get the out.

You’re a douche and I’m assuming you’re raising little douches.
